Mom is a word that means one simple thing
A person who loves you unconditionally.
Perhaps it’s the woman who carried you through
The nine long months it took to create you.
Or perhaps you are now carried by another
An aunt, step, or foster that you call mother.
That person may even be an uncle or dad
Who takes on the role that a mom had.
For what’s in a name that makes it complete?
A mom by any other name would smell as sweet.
So, you might call her mom, or Aunt Mae or Betty
Or maybe grandpa Joe or Uncle Teddy.
The point is that moms can be anyone who
loves you for always through and through.
I have had many wonderful "Moms" in my life. Thanks.
